Katie Richtiger is an in-network provider under the following insurance companies:

• Anthem Blue Cross (through Valencia Therapy Services)
• Aetna
• Cigna
• Optum
• United Healthcare/United Behavioral Health

Please check separately with associates for insurance coverage.

Out-Of-Network

For any other insurance companies you can be provided a superbill that you can provider to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. You must ensure with your carrier that your policy covers out of network services. If so, this can cover a percentage of our rates.

Fees

Katie Richtiger and Associates offer free 10-15 minute phone consultations.

Katie Richtiger’s fee is $200 for a 55 minute session.

Payment

A credit card is required to keep on file as all sessions are through telehealth. This card will be immediately charged upon session or missed appointment.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your session or do not cancel within 24 hours of session, you will be charged the full price of session which is either the full fee or the contracted rate of your insurance provider. Therapist will give a 10-minute waiting period for late arrivals, however will immediately close out session and charge for a missed appointment if tardiness exceeds this time.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
